To report an absence, a parent/guardian should email attendance@bfhsla.org with the following information:
- Student’s full legal name
- Student’s grade
- Reason for absence
Attach any supporting documentation to the email.
Any questions regarding attendance reporting, planned absences, or seat-time recovery can also be directed to attendance@bfhsla.org
Paper copies of the attendance form are available in the front office if you are unable to send an email.
Students may submit supporting documentation of their absence to the front office if you are unable to attach it as an email.
An absence will not qualify as excused if supporting documentation is not provided within five days.
